IRS Schedules Rebate Checks
April 20, 2008
The IRS released the schedule for issuance of rebate checks in response to the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008. The dates, for tax returns filed by April 15, 2008, range from May 2, 2008 to July 11, 2008. The dates are based on the last two digits of the taxpayer's social security number.

A tax return must be filed by October 15, 2008 in order to receive a rebate in 2008.
