Taxpayer Alert: Recent IRS E-Mail Re: " W-2 Form Changed"

Some taxpayers have been receiving e-mail that appears to be from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) with the subject, "W-2 Form Changed". Please remember THE IRS DOES NOT COMMUNICATE WITH TAXPAYERS VIA E-MAIL! These e-mails may contain viruses and should not be opened. Please do not open any attachments and delete immediately from your in-box.
The IRS does not send e-mail regarding your taxes nor request your personal information, such as social security, bank account, credit card or pin numbers, via e-mail.
