Monthly Part B Medicare Premiums for 2007

The monthly premium for Medicare Part B is now calculated based on a taxpayer's 2005 modified adjusted gross income (or 2006 if the 2006 tax return has been filed). The base premium is now $93.50 per month, an increase of $5.00 per month. The premium for 2007 can be as much as $161.40 per month, based upon the chart below.
