City of Beverly Hills CPR Program Recognizes NSBN LLP for Their Dedication to the Safety of Others

Beverly Hills, California, February 26, 2007 NSBN LLP (www.nsbn.com), Certified Public Accountants and Business Consultants in Beverly Hills is pleased to announce that on February 22, 2007, the Beverly Hills CPR Program recognized the volunteers who teach CPR and a variety of local businesses at their 29th Annual Special Recognition Event. NSBN was presented with a special plaque that read: "In recognition of your dedication to the safety of others by the installation of an Automated External Defibrillator AND the training of the majority of your employees in its use. You have set a fine example of being a part of the chain of survival. Congratulations and thank you, Beverly Hills CPR."

Fifty NSBN staff members have been certified by the Beverly Hills CPR Program in the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and CPR. The training teaches how to provide care for victims of sudden cardiac arrest. The AED can assess whether or not the victim's heart requires an electric shock as well as guide the rescuer in administering CPR, step by step.

NSBN staff member, Kathy Wenzel, recently had an experience where her training paid off; while she was in a coffee shop, a man collapsed and had a seizure. Luckily Wenzel was capable and confident in assisting him until the paramedics arrived.
