Los Angeles, California, March 1, 2012 NSBN LLP (www.nsbn.com) Certified Public Accountants and Business Consultants announced today that it successfully completed a rigorous peer review of its accounting and auditing practice.  The reviewer concluded the firm complies with the stringent quality control standards set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the national professional organization of CPAs.  The unmodified report indicates that NSBN LLP measures up to the accounting profession’s highest standards of quality and professionalism.  If requested, the firm will provide a copy of the report on the results of the review to all interested parties.

The peer review of NSBN LLP was performed by another independent CPA firm that qualified under the program’s requirements for service as a reviewer.  The objective is to determine whether a CPA firm has suitable quality control policies and procedures and is complying with them.

NSBN LLP has participated in the AICPA Peer Review Program for close to 30 years. A firm participating in this program must have an independent review of its accounting and auditing practice every three years.  The review was conducted under the auspices of the California Society of CPAs following standards issued by the AICPA.

Los Angeles, California- October 21, 2011 – NSBN LLP (www.nsbn.com), Certified Public Accountants and Business Consultants in Beverly Hills, is holding its 19th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, scheduled for Friday, November 11, 2011 at the Robinson Ranch Golf Course in Santa Clarita. Net proceeds will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles. The donation from this golf tournament will go toward granting a 9-year-old boy’s wish come true. Dwain is bravely battling leukemia, he is fascinated by sharks and fish, and his wish is to go on a cruise!

The golf tournament is part of the CPA & business consulting firm’s ongoing NSBN Gives Back program. “Raising funds for children in need makes this event especially meaningful for NSBN,” says Steve Asher, CPA, Partner at NSBN and golf tournament Chairman.

The CPA firm’s golf tournament will be held at Robinson Ranch Golf Course, located at 27734 Sand Canyon Road, in Santa Clarita, CA. The day will include continental breakfast, lunch, refreshments on the course, hosted cocktails, silent auction, raffle prizes and dinner.
